But first.....Let me take a selfie

You are going to continue to work in Photoshop today. You will be completing the 20 faces assignment which is in my resources folder.

For this assignment, you must have a photo of yourself. If you don't have one on your computer, take a picture of yourself on your phone and email it to yourself. If you don't have a phone, ask your neighbor.

All 20 faces must be saved as a jpeg file and inserted into a word document. So you will have all 20 faces in one document. You can just replace the photos in your assignment with your own creations.

Have fun!

Media and Technology PowerPoint

Media PowerPoint

Media & Technology- Everything we study in this class lends itself back to the media & technology! Print materials, non print materials, electronic sources, research, video, web pages and the Internet are what drive the need to learn more about these terms.

Your presentation should contain 1 title page slide, 5-7 informational slides, and 1 ending slide. The last slide should contain your references/sources.
Questions you should answer:
1.     What is the meaning/definition of your topic
2.    What is its purpose
3.    Why is it important to technology/media…what role does it play?
4.    How has people’s lives been influenced by your topic.
5. How can your technology able to be used in an educational setting?
6. Examples of your technology/media in use

Within the slides use images, graphs, and the information from your research. Don’t overdo the wording. . If you can, add a short video. Remember PowerPoint is a presentation, not an essay!

You will be given 2 class days to complete the assignment.

Your topic will be something that pertains to Media and Technology. Here are a list of topics you may chose from. Let me know what topic you are doing.
  • RFD Codes
  • Wiki
  • Google Glass
  • Apple TV
  • Nano-Technology
  • Sensors
  • Robotics
  • 3D Manufacturing
  • Podcasts
  • Any other idea you have.....must be approved first!
